About the Bangweulu Bill 5
While the Bangweulu Wetlands are not a National Park and don’t have the large predators people often rush to see, they do offer something exceptionally unique in the form of the the Bangweulu Bill 5! A challenge is laid down to our guests to spot the following 5 birds during a single stay and tick the Bill 5 – the Shoebill Stork, the Yellow-Billed Stork, the Open-billed Stork, the Saddle-Billed Stork and the Ground Hornbill. These are all large and conspicuous birds and can be found by exploring a combination of the plains and the swamps.
